New to CA, moving to Benicia/Vallejo

Hi! I am a newbie mermaid moving to the bay area in a few weeks. I will be living in the Vallejo/Benicia area (haven't picked a place yet, but will be working in Vallejo). I don't know anyone in the area but was wondering if there are regular meetups or swims in the ocean or local pools? I am a strong swimmer and love both pools and the ocean (though I need help learning the water here :). Any info would be much appreciated!

The Norcal Narwhals are Bay Area ish. We have meets once a month or so in different areas. You're about an hour north of me, when you get here let me know! we can get together for a swim or nibbles or something

Thanks for the welcome! Sorry to spam the thread, I keep thinking of new q's. Atlantis, I saw your video with the whale shark, that is incredible! Did you make that tail? It looks very fast :)
