If you didnt know, youtube now lists the most popular songs and under was rules you can use them in your video! You cant make money off them, but you will know if you check the list now, if you can use the song or not, and who can hear the audio once it's up! Very helpful.

Another great source of music is the website incompetech.com (http://www.incompetech.com). All the music is free, even for commercial purposes, you just have to credit it in your video description.

He's got a wide range so I reccomend him.

Audio Pad, Tekno Axe, and ArgoFox Creative Commons on youtube are wonderful to. Though you have to read each songs licensing! <3

I highly recommend incompetech. I always get twitchy when popular mermaid (or any type of videos) have copyrighted music. I'm like "don't you see that you can be making money???". The site has plenty of genres to use and it is very easy to download. But one thing: try to scroll past the first page. Many people tend to use the same songs as they are the first results that come up. It gets irritating when the same 3 songs appear over and over in amateur videos.
