World's deepest fish found!

Over five miles down, it is an unknown type of snailfish! Beautiful creature and amazing find!

I remember when as a child, all science books and experts were adamant that "absolutely no life is in the deep oceans, coz no light" and even back then, I thought they were wrong.

It's amazing how deep sea creatures look like they could be from an alien planet, or even space itself!
Hopefully they didn't harm or kill those fish they found in the process... :p

It's not as bad looking as I had anticipated it would be. Normally such deep-sea fish look like creatures from hell, ha ha.

I read about this but hadn't watched the video until now. OMG, that fish is so ethereally beautiful! What a privilege to be able to see such a wondrous creature, just going about its daily life 5 miles deep in the ocean. Mind blown.
