Finis Foil Dimensions

Hi!

Been searching for a smaller rubber monofin like the Finis Foil for my birthday in January... And for those days, I don't feel like lugging a huge fin to the pool, even though I love my MerFin very much!:cool:

I've discovered too, that I like the straps on a rubber monofin more than an adjustable one. So anyone that has the Finis Foil, what is the dimension on it, from foot pocket to the end where fluke tip might be, and the width across the sides where the foot pockets are and the wider edge at the top.

I happened to get a Finis Foil for Christmas, so I'm happy to report that it's a great size for bringing to the pool to swim around in! The straps are definitely very comfortable, although after a while (30mins?) the rubber did start to chafe a little on the tops of my feet close to my ankles. Still, that's something probably easily rectified by wearing neoprene socks or something.

From the foot strap to fluke tip, the size small measures about 17". Across the foot pockets where your feet are, that measures 8". The widest part of the fin measures 14". I'm not sure how much the size would vary from size to size - probably not much - but that's what I've got, and I'm so, so happy with it! :D

Edit: I stumbled across a link to a review (http://forgotten-trinkets.blogspot.com/2014/08/reviews-finis-foil-monofin.html) written by ducktails about the Finis Foil, which has some of the measurements of the size medium. I hope this helps!
