I made a fin cover to protect my MerFin from pool floor damage. I like to go into the middle depth to practice treading (finning?) the water.
It has closed fluke tips like the pre-made commercial fabric tails. Great way to try out new flukes before sewing them onto the tail.
And about 3 to 7 cm of extra fabric between actual fin edge and the fabric edge. So abit of flowyness on the fluke.

Brown lines is from a crayon I used to draw the lines which have been stitched, where the merfin fluke tips are, to stop the fabric from riding up the fin. Trying it tomorrow... Fins crossed it won't fail on me from filling up with air...
