Mermaid Silverlilly

Hey all I am planning to start saving for a mermaid tail from finfolk productions however I want it to be totally original and am willing when I save the cash to pay for a custom made fluke to make the design totally original.
However in the meantime I am looking for ideas or suggestions to help me work out how I want to have my tail look (many trials to come I guess lol) I also know I want fins over the heels and a dorsal and side fins on my tail and I would love to have the dorsal back fin run all the way down to between where the heel fins are to make it look totally dragon like and would also have the individual dragon shaped scales.
However I am not sure how to draw this I know colour wise I want black, blue, teal or aqua, green, white and purple to go with the colors you see in a big severe thunderstorm but I am not sure how to make it dragon like at the same time or images that could help me with that.
Hence why whilst I am saving for a tail I wanted to find out if you guys had any ideas or images to help me design what would be the tail of my dreams as I wanted something dark but individual and different from others but that also looked kinda evil siren like with dragon elements included as I love those things and I have a real love of storms in real life hence wanting a thunderstorm/dragon/siren tail.
Any help to help me get the ideas formatted in my head so I can start sketching whilst saving for a tail would be appreciated and hope to get a normal fin just to practice in sometime in the future.

I so can't wait to be able to get a tail in the future even if it does take awhile to save for it!
