Actually, I think you need more photos than you're showing, and I was also going to ask, is that MVD's size chart or your own? It might not be the best thing to share HIS size chart since many tail makers size differently...

I think one of the main issues is that someone doesn't want to buy a tail that they need to repair. You should try etsy since there's so many crafters on there surely someone would have no problem fixing the zipper issue.

Mike can fix it..just haven't had the funds to get it done first and since I'm getting a silicone tail..
I figured the new owner could handle it..but I may go ahead and get mike to fix

I would also suggest more images. Maybe even post a link to the video where you showed the tail. If I hadn't seen the tail in person, I wouldn't bid on what information that auction has :/ Sad that it wouldn't fit me- it's a beautiful tail!

I understand having to fix the zipper may seem like a big deal but it only cost me $100 to have mike put it in. Should not be that bad to get it fixed. Also witht he custom fins and dorsal this tail cost over $1500 originally. Im seling it in practically brand new condition for $1000.

There are no scrapes or paint problems. Shipping in the USA should be decent priced. last time i shipped from georgia to michigan it was $90 with full insurance.

I think part of the issue people are hesitant as well is that Mike doesn't usually respond to emails. I know some others who have purchased tails second hand and written him for information (and some in need of repair) and not received any reply. That's nothing you can really help though. Just keep trying, Im sure someone will buy. Have you inquired with a seamstress or someone maybe about the broken zipper? You never know, someone might be able to fix it!

Would my size 9.5 feet fit? I can work on loosing weight to fit into the rest,but my big Sasquatch feet! That tail keeps calling to me...ever since I saw it on You tube....
We will be leaving for Florida in March,is Loganville close to anywhere on 75? I'd love to see it in person ( hubby would freak), who knows maybe by then I can drop another 15 pounds and a couple inches off a couple other places.... It's the feet I gotta worry about... ;(

I thought I had replied to this but the post isnt showing.... so here we go again...

@Raina not so sure anyone but mike could fix the zipper since its a tooth missing and the zipper pull is broken.. The Zipper is latexed onto the tail. Mike had to do it special so the threads to sew the zipper in would not rip through the latex from the tightness of the fit.

@michellerobison I dont think your feet size would be a problem. Im a 7.5 wide. So the pocket is nicely sized and there are no straps. Its literally an open pocket your feet go into. the tight fit of the tail keeps it in place. Loganville is not near to 75 but its not a problem to get to it. Msg me and I will give you my cell number and we can make an arrangement to meet up in march. Mondays and Wednedays are school days and I generally cant do much other than go to class. But we cant figure out somethign when you call me :D

Nerine, 2 things:

1) Are there any other pictures available of the tail? I just feel like I dont really have the best idea of what it really looks like based off of the pictures provided.

and 2) Is it possible to ask Mike if it would be possible to take in the tail just a little? Not much, just a couple of inches, and if so, how much that would cost? I'd ask myself but for some reason he doesn't seem to want to answer any messages I ever send </3

That's actually my non-pregnant size, with the exception of the feet.... 0.o how interesting that its the zipper deterring everyone.

@dottie the feet shouldnt be a problem.. there is a large open pocket for the feet.. so if your around a size 5-8.5 maybe 9 womens you shoudl still fit just fine. I will have the tail at mer-palooza in august..if your attending you are welcome to try it on then.

At Mer-palooza only SERIOUS buyers will be allowed to handle the tail. You must present your payment as a buyer before I will allow you to try it on. Also... at the event only cash or paypal payment will be accepted for the tail. Thanks for understanding.
