How much Clay for Silicone Mold?

I plan on buying Monster Clay for my tail mold, but how much should I buy? I definitely need some for my fluke, but I have no clue how much. Also, how much if I want to mold clay scales instead of foam circles? I'm really interested in creating unique scales for my tail.

I would say maybe 30 lbs. I didn't buy monster clay as it was out of my budget, but for a fluke mold, you'll need maybe 6 to 7 lbs of clay. I have a little over 6 lbs that I am going to use for my fluke, and I would assume it would also depend on how large your fluke and tail will be.

2 of the 5 pound tubs of monster makers should do the trick, you can reuse some from the fluke mold after you have cast it :) I'm nearly done using that amount
