I wanna organize a Mermaid and Mermen Meetup in Austria this summer. Are anybody interested in that?

It'd be so great to have something similar in Europe (no way could I afford a plane ticket to the US), but a convention is different from a meet-up.
Would be nice to have a meet-up too though.

The Traunsee has an average Temperature of 21 ° C / 70 ° F

Or at the south of the Traun near Ebensee are the Vorderer Langbathsee with an average Temperature of 24 ° C / 75 ° F. There we can swim also.

If you decided to take the JUFA Hostel in Grünau you can take a bus directly from Grünau to Gmunden (Traunsee). This will take about 40 mintes. The price for the Bus will be 10 € / 11,7 $ / 8 £.

I was waiting for the date to be set. That sounds pretty awesome, if there are other merfolk coming. It will be fun if the european community closer to Austria gets together and splashes things up at the lake. Everyone is always saying they don't have any mer-friends to swim with...

I think the best thing is when well choose the JUFA in Grünau. There we will get breakfast with the room price. But its your decision?

I'm interested in a meet up but I'm working a festival on those dates and I don't know if I would have the money this summer as I am going on a holiday with my boyfriend in the summer so all of my money is going on that atm

From 5 persons there will be a reduction of 10 % of the railway tickets. From 10 Persons will be 30 % reduction and from 10 Persons the seat reservation will be free.

or you can take this. This is about 21km (34 mi) or with the train and bus 50 minutes away from the Traunsee. The price for the bus and the train will be 10 € (day ticket).
