Hi! I'm Lydia-Nova, but I go by one or the other, not both. :) I'm from Vermont and I've been obsessed with mermaids since I was a kid. (And dragons, but that's another topic)

I'm turning 17 in a little under a month, in February. I'm hoping to get my first -real- monofin then. I made a monofin and tail previously, and I can link the (one) video I have of me swimming in it for the first time. I was around 14.

I love to play games on my computer and I love talking to people. Please, don't hesitate to talk to me! :D I'm absolutely obsessed with dragons, cats and mermaids. I'm an intensely crafty person when it comes to small things and costumes.

I enjoy drawing and writing and costume making and everything. :D

I've made several costumes before, including the mermaid tail I made and a satyr costume for halloween.

Uh. I dunno what else to say here.

So.

Hi.

Welcome! I'd love to see all your costumes if you have pictures or links to them :)
Do you prefer Lydia or Nova any better than the other?

Thank you! I don't prefer one over the other. :) This is the only costume I have at-hand right now. (http://imgur.com/a/UIGJS) I made almost every single piece of it in a week, for halloween and the costume content. C: And I won, as the title suggests.

Ooh, how fantastic! One day I will make a satyr/fawn costume - they look so much fun!

They are amazingly fun! But be very careful if you choose to do hooves like mine. I fell on my face twice that day. It was -NOT- fun.

I will keep that in mind! Are they at all like Kanti's (http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/132/9/e/__hooved_shoes___by_kanti_kane-d3g7bkb.png)? I imagine having the staff may have helped prevent any more falls than the two :P

Yes, they are kinda like theirs. I made mine from a huge platform boot where I ripped off the heel and built the hoof onto the shoe itself instead of putting it under the shoe (Which is, what i understand, is how that hoof is made)
