Uh oh... Monofin scam or copycat?

I came across this site and was very pleased with the pricing on these monofins, but then I saw something weird.

That.... Is a wave. Being sold by a different company? I'm confused. I know waterway is a legit company but I am perplexed by this. Thoughts? I would like to order a monofin through here but I'm suspicious now.

weiiiird. people can officially resell finis (I was approached) but didnt think they could put a new logo on it

very strange, waterway models usually have a distinctive wooden look, and the only one looking like a Finis is that one model you posted.
Maybe email Waterway about it and ask?

Apparently it is theirs, and it's supposed to be that cheap. Whether it is good quality or not I don't know, but they class it as a kids monofin

If it's anything like a Finis Rapid, it will eventually break across the end of the footpockets. And by eventually, I mean soon.

There are lots of monofins and they all look pretty similar the purpose of fins like the rapid is to correct a dolphin kick.

I have a wave, it holds up for me. I talked to a certain mer-papa and he said that it's legit :) apparently it's the same mold, different distributer.

Probably bought them wholesale from China. They sell these at alot if companies. I'm not sure if finis does this as well. Then they get their logo engraved or printed on the product.
