So I'm delving into possibly makeing a silicone tail. Problem is... I don't Inouye hope much I need of a few things.. like how many pounds of clay doesrone need to make a scale sheet and fluke and maybe dorsal/extra fins? How mushy pounds of silicone do you need to make a tail?

Rough estimates are all I needn. I've check a few threaded on making tails.. maybe I missed the info somewhere but I did spend the last hour trying to search threads.

Thanks

2 x 5 lbs tubs of monster makers should be heaps, you can reuse the clay again and again. so sculpt & cast fluke then finish scale sheet with left over, look up , cleaning out monster makers' on YouTube for heaps of clips on how to clean grot and residue from the clay before re using :)
