I was asked to answer some questions about my experiences as a mermaid; especially given I am a larger mermaid.

I put together a video of my responses. It includes some footage and images of my tails, and me in my monofin before I had tails!

The video is both serious and funny, but it is close to an hour long... so... get some popcorn.

I do think, however, the last bit is very important for everyone; new merfolk especially.

Love the video and the footage of your tails.... the spotted tail you made is gorgeous! I remember watching your videos when I was making my first tail which was probably about 5 or 6 years ago now!!!

Loved the video!! In my mermaid research it was seeing you & your tails that made me realize I could be a mermaid too despite being about 250lbs. Of course no company makes a fabric tail in my size so I had to make my own and when I'm in it I feel so different. I don't feel like I'm as big as I am. It's also the reason I picked the name Sessilee as my mersona name because it means "blind of self beauty."

Like Aprilia said your spotted tail is gorgeous and my fave of them all. I'd love to have a tail made by you if you ever decide to make them for others.

You are an amazing mermaid!! This video was awesome, and I really do love what you said at the end. Your tails are amazing by the way. You have done a great job painting them and I deFINately love your purple tail.

I agree with the "excuse" of drying off and having feet too! Although I find the concept neat, I wouldn't say that to little kids either if I had the choice.
