I used to have that one booked somewhere, Aqua. Small world!

She made hers with a finis Tempo. They don't make those anymore. 0.0
What was the difference between wave and tempo, anyways?

LOL! I think the tempo had a slightly larger foot pocket

Oh, awesome! Thanks so much! I just saved the link, so the next time I update the list of tutorials I'll be sure to add that one.

Does anyone else know of any tutorials or how to guides on making tails an accessories? Let me know so I can add it to the list.

This is a good question. I made a thread about the Titania Monofin to discuss this: http://mernetwork.com/index/showthre...itania-Monofin

I'm a first timer on making mermaid tails, and I was wondering if anyone has tried using a paintable silicone caulk (found at Lowes) on their mermaid tails. I'll be doing swatch tests first, but hopefully there are more experienced tail makers that have used this product and can give me some advice on it...

hey, i read somewhere that you can make a lycra/spandex/fabric "sleeve" for your legs, then cutting out fabric scales, coating them in silicone/latex and (whilst someone stands in the sleeve) sticking the coated scales on.
For anyone with experience using silicone and latex, would this work?

I dont think thats the best material to cover in latex or silicone because it's so thin and stretchy so it'll just continue to pull and crack the latex or silicone. Neoprene is really the best for that
