As part of my new community blog project I'd like to do a feature monthly on a mermaid or merman.
The point is the person is nominated by the community, so you post HERE who you nominate and give us your best sales pitch why. YOU DO NOT VOTE HERE. I will leave the nomination thread open until NEXT THURSDAY DECEMBER 8TH At which point I'll put up a poll and let everyone vote.

I nominate AniaR.
She is a huge part of this community and is inspiration to so many. With out here we wouldn't even be nominating someone for mer of the month nor would a community blog be in the works. She is one of the pillars of this family, an avid supporter of all who wish to follow their dreams and knowledgeable friend. She works with children to teach them about the oceans, inspires grown ups to believe in the impossible once more and is always giving. With out her I don't know if I ever would of found the mermaid community and I certainly wouldn't of thought I could be one. She is an average mer who has grown to international fame and love, while staying approachable. She has create fin-prints for many mer's to follow and is more then willing to help with that. She seems to know everything and be able to answer any question with short concise answers that everyone can understand AND has proof to back her up. Where would we be with out her right now?
This is my nomination for the month, I wish I could nominate more however that will have to wait until January.
I second for AniaR, though I certainly wouldn't be disappointed to see Dr. Seaweed get it.

aww you guys are too sweet but It be pretty weird if I won while organizing the silly thing. How about I exclude myself until a time when someone else is organizing the blog :) but thank you very much.

Well then I nominate Star and Siren, Star I will admit to having a biased for though because she is my girl, but she does help others out when she can, and has done some amazing tails and vidseos with almost no help, her sisters has done a lot too and tried to make a lot of things easier for toher with some people and tried to smooth the bad feelings with out just ignoring the problem

Also, obviously "merman of the month" too. I meant for it to be "mer-of-the-month" but I was in a rush when I through up the first post.
