Belly button rings

Anyone know of any cool mermaid themed belly rings?
I'm planning on getting my navel pierced and wanted to see what mermaidy belly rings there are :)

I have an anchor with rope wrapped around it, the top part a mermaid and the dangly fin and another with just a dangly mermaid. I find all mine at Spencers. ill try and find some pictures.

I got a few at Hot Topic. I had trouble making a decision. There were several oceany ones. Right now I have a sea turtle one in. There were a bunch of dangly ones with seashells, mermaids, etc. I don't remember which dangly one I ended up getting.

I just bought some too haha, I got mine from hot topic, they also had some octopus ones, and ones with seashells.

Question, so I know what to expect: how much does a naval piercing hurt? How should I prepare?

Getting your belly button pierced doesn't hurt, regardless of your pain tolerance. I've had mine pierced twice(both times I had issues and had to remove it) Honestly, them holding the skin they pierce, hurts worse than the piercing itself. You have nothing to worry about. Just breather normally and don't tense up.

I'm actually considering getting it pierced again xD I miss having it lol. I'll have to look into Spencer's and Hot Topic for some jewelry lol. Happy Piercing ^.^

The place I went to didn't use the clamp. It hurt for me. But yeah pain isn't bad or anything.

I got mine done last Tuesday and it felt like a needle... a very very sharp needle lol. And you can feel the "pop" of skin as it goes through. but it's worth it.

I'm having some problems now, not with it healing because it's healing really well, but I keep hitting it! I'm afraid I'll pull it out because that's what it fells like will happen.

Also heads up to anyone looking to get one: they don't suggest you use jewelry from Hot topic and anywhere that doesn't sell titanium or implant/surgical steel. And they won't put any jewelry in that isn't titanium or surgical steel.

My favorite belly ring was a mother of pearl one I got in Key West. They all fall out eventually. It's so hard to find ones I like I need to just make some!

Does anyone find their bellybutton rings tear fabric tails?
I just ordered my first fabric tail. I don't have my belly button pierced anymore but I do have two dermals on my lower back which would be under the tail.
I am thinking of wearing waterproof bandaids over the piercings just to keep them safe and the tail safe.
What have you guys experienced?

I found some of my belly button rings rip my shirts, I've never had them rip my tail though.

I would recommend a piercing shop! The one near me (Ohio) custom fits everything! I haven't had any problems. They also do the jewelry change so they use tools to make sure that it's tight so you don't lose it. The studio is called Mainstreet Tattoo in Ashland Ohio. I'm sure they would ship to you as well.
