I did a little digging and I found two articles that I feel would be of particular use to the mer community if anyone can figure out what ever happened to it.
Article 1
Article 2
Quote:
Watanabe headed a project that recently produced the first effective nose clip that can be concealed inside a swimmer's nose. Said Watanabe's assistant, Laura LaMarca: "Another country has one, but the swimmers have to blow it out of their nose to get it out and it is (unattractive)."
Quote:
They deferred to their prosthodontics experts, who developed a device that is inserted into the nose and is not noticeable on television.
Quote:
The new nose-clip might be on display--or not on display--Friday through Sunday at the U.S. Olympic trials for synchronized swimming at the Amateur Athletic Foundation's Rose Bowl Aquatics Center in Pasadena.
These are old articles, but I haven't been able to find anything on the invisible nose clips sense and these are the only two I can find that even mention it. Two heads are better then one they say, so how much better is a community? I'm hoping we can either solve the mystery and perhaps purchase our own invisible clips or find suitable replacements. I'm half tempted to buy the pliable ear plugs and stick them up my nose to see if they work.
