<waves fins> hiya! newbie mer here!

Greetings fellow merfolk! My name is Jennifer "Fer" Young and I'm local to Jonesboro, GA on the south side of Atlanta. I am stupid excited about getting my first tail this summer when the new Finfolk fabric line releases in May! I'm trying to connect with other mers in my area to see if there are any existing meetups or groups, or to see if anyone is interested in forming a local pod! Erilene will be my mersona, she's one of my primary NPC (non-player) characters in the local LARP (live action roleplaying game) that I help run. I really want to connect with some folks to try and get together a group photo shoot and tailed tubing run up in Helen this summer once my tail comes in. It's nice to meet everyone. I look forward to meeting some of you in person soon hopefully! :)

That is cool that you are into LARP. I have been interested in it for a while but haven't been.

A group tubing trip sounds awesome I'm sure that will be a blast. The last time I went tubing I was sad that I didn't have my tail with me haha.

Nice to meet you. I joined here fairly recently as well. I've never tried LARP at all, but I'm no stranger to roleplaying.
