So I had put silicone on the inside of the fluke to help it stick to the monofin, and had waited for it all to be dry before sewing and sealing it all off. I then put silicone over the top and painted it. Soon after I realized that a couple parts of the silicone inside of it wasn't all dry like I thought! What should I do? Will it dry eventually or...? Help please! I've worked VERY hard on this tail and I don't want it to be a waste :(
What type of silicone are you using?
Paintable, waterproof clear silicone that I bought at lowe's.Quote:

blow a fan right down through the tail, rig it up if you can so you can leave it dry for a while :) helped when mine wasnt cured (my old one)
I left my tail outside for 3 months to let it dry using siliconized caulk. It NEVER dried. How it didn't, I have no idea. But it didn't.
Maybe it's an issue with heatsetting it?
