I recently canoed the Saco river in New Hampshire/Maine with my friends and the water was totally gorgeous and so clear you could see to the bottom clearly even at 12+ feet, with schools of giant fish swimming under us and everything. Would love to go back with a tail, but its mostly rocky and gets quite shallow in places, I'd be afraid to scratch it all up :( I feel like if I ever get a non-fabric one I'm gonna be so scared to mess it up it won't leave my house!
Indeed! Most people associate mers only with beaches, but what about rivers and lakes? Those have to have aquatic people on them too...Quote:
