This is a growing family.

I just wanted to make a lil' ol' post on how quickly time has passed in the mercommunity and how happy I am to have joined and met you all. The last time I checked, there were only 740 or so members if I remember correctly; now there is 1,422. You guys are the best, even through all the conflicts and different opinions; well, we wouldn't be a community without them ;).
I have learned so many things since joining, I can't thank you all enough. And thank you to the creators of the forum for coming up with this wonderful place.

Love this place! You don't have to feel like a freak for liking mermaids, and here it seem's as if eccentric is the norm. Once again I love this place! lol :)

Yes, this is such a wonderful place where we, as mers, can feel accepted for our interest instead of being looked at as weirdo's be the 'outside' world. At least, for me, I'm known as the 'eccentric one' at work, and not as the 'freak'. Unfortunately the 'freak' label can happen sometimes, been treated that way myself at least once. :(

But, thankfully, MerNetwork is a haven where we can share our enjoyment in a safe and friendly way. :D I love this place, too!!!

It is awesome that so many people here are so supportive of each other. :) It is a nice community to be a part of :)
