Best beaches of NC?

My mom said she wanted to get pictures of my new tail during th summer! Boooyaahhh!
and so comes the question . . .
Which beach?
I'm fairly new to NC so I don't know which beach would be most suitable for mermaiding and underwater shoots.
Any favorites for you mers??

Where are you located?

I'm in Holly Springs, Wake County.

I am in Apex. We are heading out to the Outer Banks in 2 weeks. The water will be cold, but I plan to do a shoot on the beach. Love the Outer Banks
