Which scale pattern do you prefer?

So these are the two scale patterns I'm deciding between. I can't decide which one I like better so I thought I would open it up to discussion. What do you guys think?

Just to be clear, the black diamonds are #1 and the green hexagons are #2

it depends, I have seen them both done on tails. The one of the left ends up looking more like scales, I find the one on the right almost looks like bubble wrap :p

I like them both, but if the right one looks like bubblewrap, then I'd much rather have the left.

Bubble wrap doesn't belong on tails unless it's being shipped. 1st one.

From the picture, I like the one on the left. But it depends on how you stretch it to use it. I would test both and stretch them to your desired shape and then see what you like. Just a thought! What ever you decide is going to be wonderful!

They're both good options. I think I'd lean toward #2. Its not as common, and I think it does look like scales.
