I know this is much more cutesy and upbeat that what others have posted, but Shirley Temple sang and danced to "At The Codfish Ball", an underwater-themed song in "Captain January". Wasn't she the cutest little thing EVER, and so talented for her age!

Cute! I saw all her movies when I was a kid. They used to come on every Saturday morning, back before cheapo cartoons took over the time slot. Hard to believe she's in her eighties now.

This is going to sound off-topic, but my all-time favorite "mermaid" song is Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb". The verse that begins "when I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse" reminds me of the beginning scene in "Splash" when the main characters first met.

I LOVE Nox Arcana! The "Phantoms of the High Seas" is a great album but my favorites are "Darklore Manor" and "Shadow of the Raven". People say they are mostly Halloween music, but I listen to them all year round. They are geniuses!
