Any Other Dry Mers?
For the longest time I've wondered about just how unusual it is in the mer-community to own a tail and consider yourself part of the mer-fandom, perhaps even have a public FB page, but not swim in your tail. The only other one that's coming to mine is Traci Hines, who is popular with the mer-community and has done many mer photo shoots but I've never seen her actually swim in a tail. Anyone else?

I'd love also to know if anybody has any suggestions for "mermaidy" things I can do that don't involve swimming.

Singing? Bette Midler has a mermaid act, doesn't she?
Comedy maybe.
Dry party entertainment?

I'm a landlocked mermaid. I've swam in my tail at least 10 times when I was in the U.S, but now, I can't cause they don't allow tails in the pools here and the lake is WAY too cold all the time! :(

same with the pools (community center pools) in my area .__.
