Absolutely! Plus, having gotten into scuba means being able to spend LOTS more time underwater together! :D Anyway, I think it'd be pretty awesome. The most amazing thing would just be learning from them and about them. The ocean and their people, both.
Yes. Real, fictional, man, maid, doesn't matter. Of course there are the little details like what do they eat and the fact that all the water around here freezes in the winter, but putting all of that aside, then yes.

Ha, sounds like everyone is almost unanimously willing to date mermaids and mermen. That's not very surprising considering this is a merfolk forum.
I think a more interesting question would be whether anyone is exclusively interesting in dating people from the merfolk community (or actual merfolk, although you might be single for a while if you're holding out for a mythological creature).
