i'm from florida! but now i live in georgia for school....which doesn't seem to have a pod here =/
I know SO MANY mers from here! Just within my normal social circle I find them! I've got a friend who works at SeaWorld as a pearl diver, one who works as a hair stylist, one who is a makeup artist and another who works at Disney! I'd love to get them all together with other local mers and go swim with the manatees at Crystal River some day...
For now I've moved this to Pod of the South, which is going to be renamed Gulf Coast Pod when I get around to it. All this stuff could be tweaked and modified later, but for now LA to FL is all one pod.
Since I am a Florida native but relocated to Ohio, does this mean I am a member of this pod? Both?

I am from Florida! I am still here too! :cool: I work at Disney as well.. Apparently there are a few mers at Disney. Glad to see that this pod will have a little more definition once things are renamed, as I agree, the south of the entire country is quite large.
Im not in this pod but Im hoping to visit Florida in May... it`s a while off I know, lol. But Im hoping to do it as a grad present for myself for my second degree and meet as many of you as I can

Ah. I'm not sure at this time if I'll be able to go over there again (It's a pricey drive, so I pretty much only go over there once a year). If you happen to be planning to come to the Atlantic coast at all, I can definitely come visit. But either way, check in closer to May and I'll know for sure :)
I'm not sure if those of you aroundweeki Wachee know this already or not, but I've been emailing one of the mers at Weeki Wachee so I just found out, and there's going to be a mer fest in July on the 14, 15, and 16. I hope I can see you guys there! I will try to make it!
