How many Createx paint?
Hey Guys!
I used the search, but i can´t find what i´m searching for.
I wan´t to restore my blue Tail, so i bought createx paint turquoise pearlized 5303 and turqouise iridescent 5504 in 2oz 60ml.
But i don´t believe that this is enough. The iridescent color is a little bit to light, so i want to mix it with the pearlized color for the base and make darker marks with just the pearlized one.
I hope you understand what i mean, my english is not soo good. :$
So i don´t know how much paint i have to reorder.
I will airbrush the area that is already turqouise on the tail and a little bit more onto the middle.
this is the tail:

Do you think 4oz 120ml of the iridescent and another 2oz of the pearlized could be enough??
thank you for any help! :)

You could layer the paint, like use the pearlized first and then the iridescent on top of it. Or you could use opaque white first to make the colors look stronger.

In my experience, if you use an air brush it takes two 2oz bottles to paint an entire tail. In painting mine I had little left over from those two bottles. Since you aren't painting the entire tail one color, more touching up/detailing you won't need all of it.
As far as I know, you can mix any of the colors and color types of Createx without issue. Mix the colors to find the right looking color that you're going to want to use, and when mixing measure the paint in parts as you mix. For instance to get that color you may need a one to one ratio, or one part pearlized and one part iridescent. Or you may need two parts iridescent and one part pearlized to get the color you want. Once you know what ratio is needed to make the color mix you're looking for, then you know how much to order. You may just need the two bottles if it's a one to one ratio, but if it's a two to one ratio you're going to need to order another bottle of the larger ratio to make sure you have enough to make two bottles worth (enough to cover your tail). Just make sure you write down what ratio you use for your paint so you know how to mix it for touch ups in the future. Other wise you'll be trying to match the color later and end up with a headache!
Hope that made sense!

Thank you very much for your help!!!
Yesterday i tried the colors on a hidden place on the Tail, and i think that the two bottles of 2oz could reach. :D
