So i just watched the first season (totally binged in like 3 days). Anyone know when the second season is coming out? I don't have Netflix but I internet pirate my butt off >>
As far as I can tell they've finished three episodes of the next season, but I cannot find them anywhere.
I've totally dropped off the radar with this. What episode/ season are they up to now? Also has the show gotten any better?
I don't think it has aired yet. Sadly i don't have netflix anymore so ill have to wait for amazon to have it.Quote:

Neither. I've never liked the jewelry much as I always believed if one is born of the sea, then magic would come naturally to them. Not stored away in some little trinket, that if it got lost, then they can't do magic.
I actually love them all and when I can I would love to have both necklaces to look like my favorite H2o mermaid Cleo and have a replica ring like the mermaids from the Mako Mermaids show.
Im a huge fan of both shows and I collect stuff from the H2o show and I would like to do the same with the Mako show.
I don't know how to design my own mer jewelry or make them either cause I don't know what to get and where to buy everything also so that they all look like I found the pieces on the ocean floor and then hand made everything.
Cause I do know that I would like them to be shells pearls beads green foliage and anything else that I'm missing so that they look like a mermaid actually made them all.
If you can help me come up with my own designs so that I can make them please let me know here as soon as you all can.

You could go to the Fire Mountains website or any online bead shop, and look at their beads. Some of them do look like the gemstones used in the shows, and there are tutorials on youtube on how to make the Mako and H2O jewelry.
Looks like we're getting a season 2 trailer this week. The AUS website has been updated with a plot synopsis for the season that, honestly, I did a double take for while reading it... it's very similar to the first season. Anyway, looks like they're aiming for a Spring 2015 release I believe but we'll know more after the trailer.
Ah yes finally! I'm disappointed at the plot, but hey, mermaids, and that's what fanfic is for.

how do those tails move? they are so long. I didn't realize when I watched the series that they were longer than their legs.
There's a footplate they use, and their feet press down on it to kick the fluke. Very complex & cool, you notice it if you look closely when they swim. :)
Ooh! and is that a huge spotted dorsal fin? That's new
i posted the photo as i saw something that raised my suspicions for season 2. you will notice that she is wearing a MOON ring, this raised Q's as only mermaids that have completed mermaid school/ training get them. which is what Rita gave Lyla and Nixie in the last episode. as Serena's Ring was her sisters Aquata's. so it just makes you wonder how she obtained her ring. it'll be interesting to see how things pan out for the new season.
Maybe she's from the Mermaid Council come to have sticky beak on dry land.

Honestly I think they just went with "hey lets make EVERYONE a mermaid and EVERYONE finds out about EVERYONE." Ah well. At least the special effects look pretty good. You can be damn sure I'm going to watch the whole series.
Which got me thinking, what pod are the other mermen (not Zac) from?
I've been resorting to buying the show on DVD and have only evidently seen the first half of season 1. Agh I need to find more of this show..

It was so weird, about half a year ago I got to see all of season 1 on youtube, but when I looked the episodes up last week, they only had the full episodes in Bulgarian (I think that was the language) translation. I guess youtube took the English ones off because of copyright?Quote:
