I just skyped with Raven :) she's feeling a bit better and catching up on stuff. She showed me some of the stuff like holy cow she's working on a lot >.> no wonder she got sick. I'd like to say as her friend, thank you to everyone being so patient and wonderful. I think this taught her a lot about how much she can handle and how hard she can work. I think all of us are going to get fin-tastic tails in the long run because of it. she's not taking tail orders right now. She's selective with tail orders much like Mike Van Daal and only takes on several a year due to demand. she posts on her FB when she is able to take some.
I talked to her a bit yesterday glad she's feeling better :) being sick is the worst :(

No because "white is the new black" has been a saying for forever. Its what people in the fashion world said when it was acceptable to wear white after Labor Day. You can do it :)
It is from the fashion world, but it came to mean the 'new trend' is now the 'classic'...and is in reference to the fashion wardrobe staple, the Little Black Dress.
well I think the orange is the new black people might come after me hahahah but maybe we could make some mer-chandise without any issues.
Since I no longer have tv, Ireally don't know a lot about Orange is the New Black, but I've heard interviews with the author and some of the actors and it seems like a really good show.
When I read 'scales are the new black', I had envisioned something like this...

I like both of the t-shirt designs, but Kishiko's reminds me of a Little Mermaid comic story arc called "Serpent Teen" in which Ariel is captured and chained up just as Kishi showed!
