Attachment 23449 This was my original design for the tail. I told the tailmaker to make the yellow areas gold, as painting in paint is difficult for me. I also wanted a blended waist lined with gold at the top.
Here is my design for my final winter tail. I won't be making anymore tails till Summer. Please excuse the badly drawn picture! If someone can do a better job of it, please do, I won't mind.

I knew I wanted a black-to-white gradient of a rich, dark teal. The lines on the fluke are ridges and valleys.

I made a new design with Neptune's Daughter!
The dotting tool is perfect for me, the gradients you can make with it look so cool.
(I didn't bother making the rainbow on both sides of the fluke, but its supposed be on the other side aswell)

Ok so my gold merberry tail is gonna be used for costuming only because the scales at the back are peeling. perfect time to submit my tail designs.. and i have to pick one... BUT! i'm still deciding what look i'm going for. so let me put up the first 3 images that i have.

Ok so the first one i have a corset to wear with the blue tail and will probably be for dry performances.
second is kind of something i've wanted for a pretty long time for all the wrong reasons. A JELLYFISH TAIL. because it's so princessy :3 it probably won't be functional though...
the third one i'm thinking about dying my hair back to it's natural colour (dark brown) and since i'm asian, i kind of want a koi fish tail/goldfish tail. lame and overdone i know :P but right now my hair is red and i'm cutting it super short because i can't stand the long hair anymore :P

ok so for this one.. ELSA for shits and giggles.
the last design is based off of Angel who was captured during the last dolphin drive in Taiji. she's a white dolphin and i want a tail based off of her. no scales, just a flat surface.

My summer tail will be something other than orange... The swimsuit will be a one piece in the same fabric, so that when I wear the tail, it'll look like I'm all fish!

Okay so not exactly my tail 'design' perse but I am looking for opinions on this one. I have an order with Raven of Merbellas for a silicone tail and I am a little torn as to whether go with something safe that I know I'll like, or be adventurous (which I'm naturally not) and order something a little more potentially jaw dropping. If I did at the moment I have close to no idea what I'd want it to look like but I'm thinking something based off this image of a dragon called a "Tide Caller" made by Neon Dragon Art, however I am worried this may be a little too close to the Sea Dragon tail she did a little while ago and am wondering what people think? If I went with the 'safe design' it would look like the koi tail in design, but with a blue colour scheme.
