Pearlie just so I get this straight! You're using silicone to bond them into the mesh correct? Pinning down to keep them flat, and then you're doing a slime layer over that with more silicone?

This might be a dumb question, but how are you going to get the pins out but retain the placement of the scales before the slime coat?
The sparkling of the scales look lovely.
Great work on the tail. A lot of work, but the look will be worth it.

Well, I took the prototype monofin for a swim tonight, and IT SWIMS AWESOMELY! I have a scant few tweaks and it's ready to go between my cicada wing fluke halves!
