Your tail really is a thing of beauty, Felicia! The colours, stripes, and fin shapes make it look very natural yet also quite poisonous! :mermaid kiss: Raven's sketches for me weren't colourized, so we each get to keep our own thunder after all!

I have since learned never underestimate the resourcefulness of Raven Sutter! She sent me this on, fittingly and disturbingly enough (as it was the anniversary of Jeanne d'Arc's/Joan of Arc's martyrdom), May the 30th:

Raven examined my initial sketch and told me that she thought the design would work well with a new fluke upon which she was working: the Butterfly (Dragon) Koi. We have since seen this fluke and I have become quite pleased about being to swift to agree! I also apologize for having been so coy myself these past several months....

Indeed it does (look amazinggg) and is (realistic)! The front and back provide a lot of contrast, which is rather natural for non-poisonous fishies (as we probably all already know, they are light at the bottom to blend in with the sunlight above and dark at the top to blend in with the darkness below)! :mermaid kiss:
