I think they do merbellas for a day sporadically when they can fit it in

Yes received the email yesterday asking for my address so we could choose the best plan :). Thank you for keeping us up to date as best as possible I know you get annoyed sometimes but if it weren't for you a lot of Ravens clients would go crazy. It's greatly appreciated Raina!
I haven't swam in a foil, but a competitor, rapid, wave, trainer, and oceanika, the trainer is my fave for speed and agility, oceanika for flow, and competitor for power. rapid is good for practice and moderate umpf, and the wave gives me not much help, but it's also a little small and uncomfertable for me. But the competitor is in my merbella and I like it alot.
How is the waiting line atm? (for mers on this forum) I wonder wich ones go after Raina and Michelle :) I know I'm last in line :D lol

Mine is up shortly following Raina and Michelle I believe. Tyler just emailed me yesterday saying they begain working on my tail and realized they still needed my shoe size. I ordered in this past spring in early April I believe.

I don't have a mobile phone, so I'm a bit out of the loop regarding Instagram; I'll need to wait for email updates, it seems. Still, it is wonderful and exciting to know that my mermaid tail is almost started!

You can look at Instagram without an account, but must have the mobile app to have an Instagram account. There is at present no web-based app for Instagram.
There's no way to embed images from instagram into the forum because of the way instagram is set up,and from internet you can't get "share" links but you can get them on mobile. Sorry, otherwise I'd post the pretty pics.
It is actually possible to embed pictures from instagram, you just have to trick it a bit:

How do you do it? I screencap the images to save them (I have a "mermaid" folder on my desktop :P) but I'd like to know how to directly embed them! The share link is easy on my computer at least, I just click on them and copy the link and it goes directly to the image + comments page.
Technically I think my order was officially placed July 1st (when she said she could put me in the line) I paid for it on the 18th of August and haven't sent measurements since my sketches still aren't done so there's no way they've started mine yet, but in saying that I've gotten Raven to try out something new with my tail (which shall remain a secret for now ;) ) so that means mine will take a fair bit longer to start because she has to get the new technique right.

Oh my goooood, the flukes in action and look at those amazing hip and dosal fins on the blue one! And one of the flukes is new! One is the She Creature, the other I don't think we've seen before, but it looks amazing!

It kinda looks like a lion-fish tail (just from what I could see there). But oh my gosh! It's so great to see Raven in the water again <3 She really is one of the most graceful people I've ever seen in the water.Quote:

Yes it's her new lionfish personal tail. I don't think it's quite finished like she'd like, she always makes her own personal tail as franken tails out of left over pieces. I know she's been working on this one bit by bit for 6 months or so. Just here and there. This is a behind the scenes video of some work she got to do at Weeki :) So nice to see her in deep water again instead of just the tank, she really shines.
And yes, that might be a new fluke, and yes there may be a few other mermaids in the future with that fluke ;)

That video is lovely; I was hoping that Raven would do a lionfish tail and it looks very natural!
I just replied to an email Raven sent me in today's noonday hour; I think Raina's tail will be done before mine, because Raven is still perfecting her new dragon scales (she offered to do rounded or Merbella scales to get it to me sooner, but I always like to see her artistry at work). She also appears to have found a way to work the blended option into my tail, which I find amazing! I am patiently excited! :mermaid kiss:
Yes we were chatting about that and I decided to opt out of the dragon scales as much as I think they'd look amazing, I am so rough with my tails and using them so much I was worried I wouldn't be able to repair them on my own. My tail design is complicated for me- but not quite as complicated as yours ;) hehe so I do think mine will be whipped up first.
I just wanna see some dragon scales!! are they similar to the belly of the sea dragon tail?
I realized that I had never shown you guys a video of me swimming in my tail! So I pulled out the GoPro and had Nautia film a few shots. This was at the end of my swim so I was tired as all get out, plus the GoPro battery hadn't charged and was mostly dead. Still, these three shots made a decent short, short video of the tail. I promise I'll do a better one eventually!
P.S. MerEmma, the scales on my back underneath the dorsal are the Dragon Scales. c;

yeah it is a full tail, it just has a variety of different sculpts intertwined to make it "dragon". That's her formally named calypso fluke. Only a few clients have it so far and I will have it too :) I'm excited. My scale sheets were curing yesterday :) I'm dreaming of mermaid tails. I am thinking my public event on Saturday will likely be my last public event with rapidash.
That gold fluke is huge! I love it
