stunning!!!
I loved the sunlight picture, being a sucker for light shiny scales and all ;)
Aquarius here too btw.
Despite being an air sign, I always thought it was the perfect sign for a mermaid.
I always said "Mermaid" when I was asked my sign as a child
(aquarius is called "water-man" or "merman" in German,
and it's usually depicted as a "merman with a trident"-symbol on local horoscopes.)
OH MY GOD THIS IS ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!! I read through a lot of this thread ages ago but SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED AHH!! I ADORE your scales! The abalone ones are STUNNING. I'm doing a similar thing with attaching individual scales but wiht a fabric tail, so I'm looking forward to seeing how yours works!! Can't wait to see how this turns out.
I'm working with sections and single scales with a fabric backing, lace for the fluke and power (thanks for the tip ^-^)mesh for the body.I'm wondering if there's anything I can use to help stick the silicone to itself but more importantly the fluke to the scales by the ankles ,I have a design in mind that requires a smooth transition.ill be using a bit of silicone on the backs of the scales to attach them to the fabric but I'm looking for a method to attach the fluke and the body.I'm stuck.any suggestions?
