The "I just had a photo shoot!"/sharing photoshoots thread!

I'm working with the Pirate Festival this year and had to have a photoshoot done for their magazine and a trading card for the kiddies. Here's some of the pictures we took. Some were edited as well for "fun" effects such as backgrounds and lighting but I love them all the same.

I'm so excited! I FINALLY got the husband to take me to the river after work for a quicky photo/video shoot, and I'm so happy with my tail right now!
I love the sequins (I'll actually probably be finishing the whole tail in sequins) I'm content for now though lol
I will be putting videos up soon on all my accounts; youtube, deviantart, instagram (some already up ^_^) and my Facebook of course lol

Went to Lake Erie with some friends last weekend! She's a sailor, and before I ever had a tail or even knew mermaiding was a thing, I've told her I'm going to swim up to her boat and lure her into the waves like a siren :) So we took some fun pictures.

Henna, henna, henna. If you want to be a redheaded mermaid, HENNAING your hair is the only way to go. It's as easy as mixing brownies, you can freeze what you don't use, so whatever paste you make will last forever. And the good body art quality stuff DOESN'T fade once it oxidizes in your hair. I wish I'd discovered it when I was still redheaded.

I used to get my hair hennaed at a local beauty school. They were pretty cheap, and it meant i didn't have to deal with the muss and fuss myself! Like MV says, the color lasts for months!

Ginger...I swear to god I hate south park for that title lol
I'm not that bright orange of a ginger ( I was when I was a child) but more of a golden auburn and I promise I can tan! and I have a soul! haha but really go natural redheads! there aren't many of us left!

I think gingers are some of the most beautiful people on the planet. No worries :)

I've heard of henna but never knew it lasted that long. Ill check it! :) yes I was wondering how to maintain my red as a day to day mermaid...

Oh yeah, I've heard great things about henna dye. Doesn't leach nutrients from your hair like bleaches and dyes do either!! In fact it can do a lot to restore your hair.

I'm afraid of dying mine, but I might try it someday :) I too loooove red hair, but mine's brown. When I was very little it was blond, but it gets darker every year.
