:) Still getting used to it, but very happy with the results! Hehe.
Jadestone your tail looks beautiful! Unique from other tails I've seen as well, which can be hard to do. Props to you!
WOW Jadestone! That just is amazing!
With the fact I would be repeating myself from your own thread Jade, I will keep it simple here!
Bravicimo! Magnifique! Gorgeous, stunning, admirable, amazing, wonderful~ etc
I absolutely love it, Jade! The fluke looks gorgeous, and so do the scales!
One of the most beautiful tails I have ever seen! I'm really impressed w/ how the scales turned out, I plan on using that technique but I've never seem them looks that good. Seriously, it looks so realistic and the flow...it's so incredible! Reminds me of a goldfish or an h2o style tail. Wonderful job :)
Thank you!! 'Goldfish' was kind of what I was going for, so I'm glad it turned out :) I had side fins that would have made it more goldfish-y but I couldn't figure out how to attach them the way I wanted. Might try to add them later anyway :)
But yeah! I'm really happy with how the paint job turned out, even though I was kind of rushing it due to time constraints. The netting I used was pretty thick and had relatively big holes, which I think helped a lot. I also was using it more as a pattern as I still individually painted each scale (though if I had had access to an airbrush, I'm sure I would have used it. Painting that thing was a lot of time/work x_x )
But yay I am so happy, I have a working tail and I love it!! I can't believe it still! Hehehe.
well it definately is goldfishy ;) lol
I hope you figure out how to add fins, they would look amazing! Perhaps Little_Orca could help?
Do you mind if I ask you where u got the bag for your netting? I might do netting on my tail.
I'm probably getting a little annoying at this point :/ but I just have to ask you...
HOW ON EARTH DID YOU HIDE YOUR HEELS SO WELL?? lol
Hmm. I'm not sure where to get them. We won ours in a contest, I think? Actually, I can probably find the contest online...
Aha! They're called "ecobags." They look like this: http://ww1.prweb.com/prfiles/2012/09...ing%20Bags.jpg
I cut the netting away from the thicker handle and ended up with a nice rectangle of netting. It covered 1/4 of my tail, so I had to move it a bit but it worked wonderfully.
Also, I didn't do anything special for the heels! Just lucky pictures I think, in some they show up more. When I was making it I had thought about sewing a double layer of fabric inside the tail to go over the heels, actually, to help prevent wear, but I didn't end up doing it.
^ ThanX, Jade. i will look into that.
As for the heels, you are very lucky indeed lol
Here are a few of the photos from 2 sessions I did with my hubby as photographer (pretending to be Nigel Barker). This is my new Fish Butts tail :)

Wavy!!!! Your tail is so beautiful :) The colors are just... UNF!Go perfect together! I cannot wait to see it at a meet up sometime in the future!!
And Koral I JUST saw your tail on Facebook! I really don't care so much for the Oceankia monofin but WOW! That is STUNNING! It reminds me of like a butterfly and a fish. The colors compliment each other so nicely!
Thanks iblondie! I LOVE it sooo much and can't wait to try it on!
Wavy and Koral- your guys' tails are beautiful! Great designs and colors on both of them. Stevi really outdid herself yet again! :O
Thanks guys!!! And Koral, yours is gorgeous! Very unique :)
Thank you thank you! You think so? I suppose I certainly haven't seen one like it yet, and I would hope so as I designed it! :)

WavyMermaid--love the pictures! And that color is lovely on you :)
Koral--Ohh, very nice! Loving the spots :) Can't wait to see pictures of you in it!
I can't wait to see either! It's supposed to arrive tomorrow, hopefully it gets here before before 4pm for Lei Loni's party and debut, so we can debut together!
Wavy your tail is stunning! I really like how subtle the colors are.
Speaking of debuting tails....I'm picking up my Mermaid Creations LLC tail tonight! Here's a teaser of what the tail will look like. I'm literally counting the minutes.

There's one image, and photobucket link to the rest of them.
It was a rough photoshoot for me. First time, and all. I'm going to find a more flattering top if possible. My tail is NOT that light colored, but at least you can't see the damage it took! I'll try to get better dry photos after the tail is its natural color again and more water photos after I repair and let it fully cure!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oceanika fins!!! I just have to find one of those wooden shoes-stuffer things and stretch the left foot somehow.
I just had to post a picture of my new Mermaid Creations LLC tail! It's amazing! Jesse is truly a gifted artist. I will post a full review and more pictures soon!
Koral, I really love your tail! I love the way the Oceanika looks in the water, but I'm not much a fan of the shape. =\ But your tail is absolutely gorgeous. And Lei Loni (if I may call you that?) your tail looks amazing. I haven't seen any others like it!
Thanks. The shape isn't for everybody, but ohh the way it moves and feels! <3 I haven't been able to move that fast in a skin+rapid, but I can zoom in this one.
Hehe, lucky you! It looks really gorgeous. I still don't know if I'll get a tail from Jesse or Raven (or maybe even a different tail maker by the time I can afford it? :P) but it is really, really pretty. I really want an Oceanika for myself just to swim with, but they're so expensive. :\
