Gotta love it! I like my Super Mario 3, but if guy go on about CoD and stuff my "end phrase" (that makes them go away) is "Wow, that game puts me to sleep."

[QUOTE=mermaidandrea;58402]K. you know what irks me?[QUOTE]
Love that word, irks it just rolls of the tongue doesn't it? Irks, irks, irks, irks. I can say that all day *practices in sexy voice* (fails completely) lol
I hate shopping for tops/dresses/cosplay stuff/etc. It's a big headache. My sizes are 36" bust and a 25" waist, but nooooo, if you wanna get a 36" bust then you must have a 28" waist. So, as always, if I find a top that fits perfectly around the waist, it's too small for my bust, or vise versa. I hope I'm not getting into the TMI thing, but being a DD also makes it a lot harder to find things. xP
^ ughhh! I have the same exact problem with finding jeans. They are either too long, or too short, or too tight, or too loose. It's horrible!! :O
and how come all pants seem to be made with the assumption that we have no waists? I'm curvy, not just fat. i need to wear clothes too :/
also i feel like denim used for women's jeans is really flimsy stuff. what is up with that?
I know how that goes. xP I've got a longer torso and shorter legs, it's annoying for me to find a good pair of jeans that actually fits. And pockets! I'm sorry, but I love my pockets, I love deep back pockets that I can stick my phone in. Why is it the fashion to have no pockets? :(
Same goes for me, I've long legs. Even the pants with extra long legs are still to short :( I need to wear skater pants so my pant legs are long enough, not that I mind those, they are cool. Also when getting a nice pair of pants my hips are always to wide, which makes me have to go up 2 sizes so my waist is looking ackward cause I don't need the extra space there
OH MY GOD, YAY! So happy it worked! :'D
So my friend wants to move forward in her life and get a career. counseling, nursing, teaching, or bookkeeping
Her cousin went on a big rant about the current shortage of nursing jobs and went off at anyone who said she should do it. She then made some racial comments in regards to nursing in outback towns (with large indigenous populations).
their uncle told said cousin not to be racist and not talk about what she knew nothing about. I had the gall to like the comment and got in trouble for it.
As a student nurse, i get educated on cultural safety and equality as part of my course.
Am I in the wrong here? Isn't it a good thing that I don't like racism?
I don't see how you are wrong. I would have done the same and asked who pissed in her cheerios.
I hate it when people try and tell people that they shouldn't do what they want in their lives.
Two of my great uncles tried to tell me that being a vet was a bad choice. That it was hard to get a job as a vet and not many vet clinics hire people beacuse there is not a good "market" for vet jobs.
I told them its what I want to do, its what I am called to do. My heart and soul is in it and NO ONE will tell me that I can't. If you don't like it then get over it, its my life. One uncle has never brought it up again and the other respects me for standing up for myself and not letting people getting me down.

I hate it whenever I take time out of my own schedule to do something for someone and they
turn around and COMPLAIN about that it's not done well or that they don't like it, etc.
Usually whenever my parents throw a party at the house I stay up after they go to sleep and clean
everything so they don't have to. I usually put all the dishes away, wash beer cans, mop the floors,
whatever the extent of the damage it lol. Sometimes my mom will have the nerve to complain that
I didn't do a good job on cleaning the floor or that I left a couple dishes out and it's like "wow that's
a weird way of saying thank-you I've never heard before". And mind you, these usually aren't
parties for me or anything, they're parties for THEM. My mom always says "If you do something you
may as well do it right" and that's fine but don't COMPLAIN at me, you can just tell me I missed
something.
I guess this also pertains to youtube videos and tutorials. Writing a tutorial isn't easy/fast and I put
it upon myself to make a youtube video and explain things. I've actually gotten emails/PMs/comments
from people who will literally get MAD at me for not explaining something or that I didn't have a good
enough example, etc. It's literally like, you know that video is free for you to watch? You know that I'm
literally being generous enough to explain things that I DON'T HAVE TO and you expect it from me?
Well, you not only expect it but you have the nerve to get mad at me? I don't mind questions at all, it's
the selfish freaking attitude of thinking you paid for me to write something for you when in reality I did
it just fucking because.
So my dad's always had lung problems. About a week ago he finally went to go check out whatever it is, because it literally keeps him from breathing sometimes. Yesterday, he was diagnosed with a disease called "Idiopathic Pulminary Fibrosis" which is basically scarring of the lungs, making them tight and limiting your breathing. On several reports about pulm fib online, I found that most patients only live three to five years after being diagnosed, unless they happen to get a lung transplant. The doctors are doing tests on his body to make sure it's healthy enough to get a transplant, but even after that they have to find compatible lungs to replace his, and there's a list too, so who knows how long it will be until he gets what he needs. I can't imagine what losing a parent would be like, I'm really scared and worried.
My friend just recently moved out of her house and into a hotel room with her dogs(they JUST got a new puppy!?!!! What the#&%$!!!!), mom, step-dad, 10 yr old sister, 15yr old sister, and 19 year old sister(who is going into the military in 2 days whew). I can't really asses their situation because they seem to go out to eat every night and my friend says that they just moved out because the landlord was a terrible person and would do nothing for their living conditions. So i don't really know where they are in terms of financial stability. However, i told my mom and she has tried to help out with whatever she can.. We just bought her THREE pairs of shoes because she didn't have any that fit or that were in good condition. She also lets her stay over on weekend (which stretches my patients quite a bit) and invites her for dinner whenever we can, and even pay for school functions and gives rides. She hardly ever says thank you!!!! I am soo tired of helping and not getting a simple thank you for me or my family! I really do want to help but when she is so unappreciative its hard to be enthusiastic about helping.
I understand she is in a hard situation which is why my family is helping her in the first place, but really? Not even a thank you? Its just SO frustrating!
Some of you have seen this on my facebook, but I decided to re-post it here. I feel like I am going deaf, and I have no way to stop or cure my problem. I have been dealing with an ear infection in my left ear, caused by a flu I had on the 30th of January. Unfortunately, this ear infection has left me with a temporary (I hope) loss of hearing in my left ear, however I am also deaf in my right ear, which I have dealt with all my life. So to have the sensation of suddenly losing my hearing in a night in the only ear I have, was a very frightening and scary experience for me. Since then I have seen two doctors about my ear, and it was concluded that the infection was a viral one, cause by the flu (which I already knew) AND I was in antibiotics to help my ear infection, but now my diagnosis is to keep it on heat, and give it some TLC and it will go away on it's own! Unfortunately I can't go swimming till then. So I hope this ear thing clears up soon. I kind of feel like I'm walking in a bubble... it's very easy to wander off, and daydream, if I can't hear things around me.
i got yelled at for asking about who opened MY mail. on chinese new year i got kicked out of the house for 5 hours and got yelled at for no reason (my mother shoved my niece away, literally. she pushed her. and made her cry. all of a sudden she's yelling at ME and kicking me out of the house. wtf)
Imma just leave this here,,,

LOL maroon 5??
Ok, so my sister and I are going over to our friend's house (my friend's little sister is my little sister's friend) for a sleepover tonight. Imma just call my friend Carly and my sister's friend Laya. So Carly is really nice and all, but Laya is a bit of a know-it-all. My little sister, Oona, is super sweet to her friends, but when it comes to Laya, she gets frustrated. Laya always ALWAYS has to be right no matter WHAT the situation, even if it's something she doesn't even know about! This really upsets me, and my sister. The worst thing is, whenever she HAS to be right, she'll say "No! Your wrong!". She says it right in front of her mom! I mean, who lets their kid say that?! UGH!!!
Another thing is, about her sister, she's obsessed with this band, MCR. It's SUPER annoying! She doesn't stop talking about it! She was better last time I saw her, but still.
Edit: I meant that she being obsessed with MCR is annoying. The band isn't annoying.
Just gonna pop in and say MCR is an amazing band. And that's coming from a 20 year old. <3
Aargh, I hate know it alls! There's a person I know who you just can't talk to him because he'll interrupt you and say, "No, actually… " Even if what you're saying was right in the first place. There are also a few people I know who will argue with you things that are facts, even down to the stupidest stuff like "There's no caffeine in diet Dr Pepper" Even if you point out to them on the bottle. More than not, they will go on and on and on about the stuff that they like even if you blatantly show absolutely no interest in what they're talking about Or tell them they're not interested. They will interrupt you, they will bring the conversation back to that if you try to guide it away from that subject. And also noticed they're not really interested in anything else you have to say, just where they can use the conversation to get back to talking about what they know. Drives me nuts. As a kid or teenager, yeah it happens because they can get that kind of attitude. They're young, their learning, they have attitude about some stuff – it happens. People usually just brush it off. As an adult? No one wants to be your friend or even talk to you. Maybe you should tell her that.

Warning Rant: F***k Comic-Con and it's over-populated/commercialized convention!!! All I wanted to do was volunteer and i can't even do that anymore, because you've grown too big and have millions of fanboys/girls prancing around in whatever is hot at the moment... Ohh it will be hot too. Maybe I should even go, cause last time I passed out because of the heat. Literally. I should have been in a nice cool pool in my tail that day than walking around downtown, trying to get into the con without a pass... :-( I was thinking of handing out flyers this year for Mernetwork or the mer convention in August, up in Oceanside, but I don't think I'm going to... if I can't even get into the friggin convention!!! Besides in Disney decides to drop The Little Mermaid in 3D, from its plans then It would be a waste promoting something only a few people would be genuinely interested in.
They aren't doing Little Mermaid 3D?!?!? :O_o: Anyways, I'm sorry you are having troubles with ComicCon :(
WHAT ABOUT A LITTLE MERMAID 3D???
The nerve of some people.... I havent talked to this girl for almost a year, after txting or calling to try and hang out to keep our friendship intact I gave up. Well I got a call from her, she wanted $400, when I told her I didn't have it she asked how much I had. I said none since I haven't been working. She asked when I stoped working she hung up on me while I was talking.
She wanted it for her friends car, she already gave him 700 of her money.
I'm sorry, ignore me for almost a year then ask me to pay to fix some dudes car I don't even know. Hell no!! I have animals and things I need to buy for them, not to mention there are things on my truck that need to be fixed.
:/
Oh don't forget the "I love you" txt she sent. No you love the money I have.
At that point you had every right to.
I would've sat her down and been like WAIT WAIT WAIT.
So it's been how many years? When was the last time YOU contacted ME to hang out?
Uh-huh... Soooooo yea. No.
Even if the money was for her I would've told her to bugger off. How rude!
I had a friend who contacts me when he needs stuff and I always shame him for it haha
But in the end he brings up the fact that I never talk to him either so I touche' him for that.
I really hate a**holes. I really really do. People who are nasty, mean, confrontational and snippy with an overall "I'm SO much better than you", attitude.
It's the "I'm miserable, so I'm going to make YOU miserable too," syndrome. I know this, so I should pity these people, but I don't. Wanna be miserable and angry and hateful? Fine! JUST LEAVE ME THE F*#&% OUT OF IT.
end rant
its been really stressful this week. i just want to curl up in fetal position and just start crying.
Just about any time someone posts something on here, I wanna send them a hug. Of course, then I'd be clogging up the board. Feel better!!!
Hibernating in the chatterbox domain. I find that if I go down into the abyssal darkness that is the at the bottom of he forums (literally, at the bottom of the forum page where all the drama occurs) I shall see things I dot want to be seeing. So, I'm making it my choice to hang around up here. Up where it's all bright and happy and we can talk about frugal useless things like tv shows, food, games, fashion... Less stressful.
I understand there will be conflict within the community. But hear me out.
There is conflict. Conflict must be resolved. There are two ways to deal wih conflict: civilly, and... Well there's the other with wailing and gnashing of teeth and callin people names. Very rarey I find it even being solved. And so, drama is born.
Add to the fact that it's the Internet so we can't actually hear or see the person, we can only Judge the person on how they're typing. I usually have to read paragraphs over to make sure I'm not misinterpreting anything. And I'm pretty sure a lotta things said were misinterpreted. (referring to the fishbutts thing)
So there is my two cents. I shall float up here where it is more peaceful, and not drift past the chatterbox, pods, and general discussion thread.
Also it's past my bed time, and stressed out, so if no one understands what I'm saying I shall correct it in the morning. Goodnight all!
Monster-in-law strikes again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My fiance and I are now f***wits! we wanted to send her an invite to the wedding (cause we're nice people and willing to forget all the crap she's dumped on us) and we get accused of being self absorbed because we won't help her get the money she wants from my fiance's dad (child support) for a kid who doesn't live with her (he's 17 and living with his gf)
Oh the joys of being accused of being scum of the earth
Well, it happened again. My bitch of a sister slapped me for no apparent reason. Seriously. If I slap her, my parents are all like "Fiona! You should know better! It's scary for a little girl to get slapped!". Yeah? You know what else is scary? Getting threatened to be killed with a hundred knives by your little nine year old sister. Whenever she slaps me, my parents are like "Sweetie, we don't hit.". So I get all the yelling while she gets practically nothing! ARGH!!! Of course I would never do it, but I wish that I could just punch her in the face right now. She needs anger management or something, because she gets violent over NOTHING. Like just now, I asked her if she had any old pairs of shoes that she didn't want anymore that I could use (I wanted to re-design my converse), and she said "no, why?" and I said "I just told you why". Then she yelled to me to get out of her room, almost slammed the door and me, slapped me, and pushed me out. Boy do I have some things to tell her! I just, AAARGH!!! I can't express my anger right now! AAAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!
DID YOU TELL YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER THAT SHE WAS GONNA STAB YOU?
Yes, and guess what they did? NOTHING.
