I love it. I did something very similar for my sisters tail.
In fact, here they are... These are two of the tails I've made - both for my littlest sister :)

but on the shipping/fusion conversation: i rather a steven universe type fusion. even though i do ship alot and read yoai i dont feel comfortable shipping people who are actually real people (dosnt mean that you cant ship them or anything)
