@Leeloo
I'm so happy that you're the one who got that tail inspired from Disney Rapunzel. I'm confident you will do great things with it! I look forward to see pictures, I'm already a fan haha ;) :p

Try taking your coconut oil and before putting your feet in cover the monofin straps (and possibly inside of the foot pockets if it helps) in the oil. If I have trouble with the straps I usually do that and my feet slip right in and because the strap has oil on it it just slides right up to my ankles!
THAT SURPRISE OH MY GOODNESS
https://instagram.com/p/4aY1YAtky-/?...olkproductions I predicted it! Hannah's tail!
So pretty. [emoji4]It makes sense that they'd do something together. I can't wait to see more pictures and stuff
I thought that Hannah was against using silicone tails for herself? Am I just crazy?
In to the party late but Leeloo I'm a size ten too. I had real trouble with the foot straps at first. I have found that lubing my feet a lot really helps but a lot of the time I just didn't use the straps at all! Most of the time you do need the straps on because the weight of the fluke really pulls the whole tail down otherwise, but if you are in a hurry it works! Now my tail is about a year old I have found that the foot straps have actually stretched out a bit from use and it is now much much easier to get the straps on and off. Sometimes getting them off used to be just as hard! I would be stuck with one foot in the tail thinking i would be forced to wear it forever! Haha!
Does anyone recognize this mermaid or specific tail?

Found in the summer issue of GO! magazine. The event advertised is a lesbian dance party for Pride! I'm not sure if that mermaid was actually there (or any mermaids) or if they just used the picture to draw in interest.

Yes that's Crystal Shimmer!
Oh hey, it's me indeed. Had no idea about this. Nobody ever asked to use this image, or more importantly asked the photographer for permission.
I certainly wasn't there (as I live in the Netherlands). I guess they just picked it out from my Facebook page or Flickr.
How creepy! I'm sorry they used your photo without permission! :<
I use this little trick and it's a life saver! Just be careful and super gentle when pulling the straps over your heels. Too much pressure will eventually snap your monostrap.
And about the wait times.. yeah. Been waiting for almost 11 months now. When I ordered we were talking about 6 months and aiming to get my tail for our summer 2015 (which is now..) Well, I haven't heard anything from then yet after confirming my fluke/fins etc options and my production month is over in two days. So prepare to wait. Little bit bummed right now after all the delays
Oh man, 11 months from 6, Riiarin? I'm sorry your wait time got extended out so much further. I keep coming on here every few weeks in hopes to see more sneak peaks before their Facebook page but this saddens me :( I hope I get to see your tail on here soon. There hasn't been very many tail updates as often as before and even though they're not mine, I love seeing what they come up with.
Follow up with that crystal I've managed to get 500$+ from people doing that [emoji14]
The photographer (thus copyright owner) is taking action. The image is spread on the whole internet where ever you search for Siren NYC. Not only did they use the image without permission, they cut off the credit in the top left corner (the whole team was credited there) altered the image with cropping and changing color, and on the official website of the event they state a different photographer made the image. The event itself sold over 800 tickets, so all in all I think we could get serious money out of this.
Oh jeeze, I'm glad I posted it then! I hope you and the photographer can get some of the profit since I'm sure they made tons of money from the event. That really sucks... I don't understand how people can just steal images like that... No morals..

That is sooo lame! I am in college for graphic design and people who try to take shortcuts like that really infuriate me especially when I try hard to do my own work and not use someone's work without permission! I soo do not like it when people take someone else's hard work and use it as their own. I really hope this will eventually end well.
People need to realize that using someone else's photo without permission just ends up making you look bad. It is a costly shortcut.
