Thanks for the love on Catalina Mermaid's tail everyone!

Catalina is actually on her tail #6 right now and her upgraded Merbella with the dorsal is AMAZING - Raven of Merbellas had worked with her to tie the colors in the tail in to her natural hair color which makes for a stunning and very organic look. She tends to stay with her white and gold palette although she's had a few wildcards too!

1) Green with blue fabric accent by Brenda Stumpf
2) White and Gold by Jessica Dru - retired
3) White and Gold by Merbella (basic, did not have side spots, tail extensions, or dorsal) - retired
4) Green by Louie Lambe & Aubriana Z - retired
5) White, Chestnut, and Gold by Merbella with dorsal (Sheroes Entertainment's current showcase tail and her primary) - images of it are below
6) White and Blue "Frozen" tail by Finfolk

Wow... So pretty... So close..... Getting impatient

I know, Raina, but I can still be envious and jealous. And I have decided I probably still will be. I will always seen another tail and be like "OOH! OOH!" lol. Something about admitting it being the first step? I don't know. Massive headache and posting quickly at work seems not to be working out for me. I should just dive back into my crochet. :)

What would be a good amount of time to wait before re sending my top order email? I'm getting really nervous that it got lost in the inbox

I'm sorry if asked already but was she advertising or openly accepting tops? Or did you just want one? If she was accepting orders then yes email again. If you want one but she didn't say anywhere she was taking orders, chances are she's not ATM. I know she's in the middle of finishing up rush orders. Which she rarely takes but sometimes if she can swing it she will. Good luck!!

No she didn't advertise openings as far as I know. I'm just trying to order a silicone. Top for a friend. Thought that was just for tails, my apologies! Thanks :)

Also Tyler pretty much does all emails now and he is gigging if that helps explain too now that I think of it

We were just reaaallyyy hoping to get it by the end of May but I'm afraid that won't happen now :(

I decided to add the new waist to my tail order after much thought and seeing Raina's at Merfest :) So excited <3

Great news Arella! 4 days from now I will be halfway the waiting game! :yay: I'm thinking of posting my design becouse I can't take it anymore! :D haha

Once you get your tail, little_orca you'll feel compelled to randomly touch it and find yourself zoning out and staring at it. At least that's what I do. I think it's the kind of love people feel for their children.

Merley, I will rub myself all over that tail to claim it as mine via scent marking so much so that I'm sure if that part was included in the in unboxing video I could sell it and pay off my school loans.

I've been a little on the quiet side since joining the site (oops?) but I'm actually really excited. I ordered a tail from Merbella with pretty much all of the bells and whistles. It's nice getting to read other people's excitement about their ordered and desired products. So many of you are outstandingly creative with your concepts. And of course Raven is woonnderrfuull.

OK. Got my design locked in on last night.... one of my super creative art friends helped me! (He's awesome and wanted me to let everyone know he's available for mermaid tail design projects if you need help conceptualizing your ideas)

Raven originally sent me a design option. I really like it, but was worried having stripes on the front and back would look too busy for my tastes. So I worked with my friend to tweak it. Changed the front to a slightly different concept while keeping Raven's design for the back and Fluke. He also created a side view for me which was awesome.

Included is Raven's original design and then the tweaked design I ended up going with...check it out and let me know what you think.

The colors are Navy Blue, Ocean Teal, and Treasure Gold. The Gold looks yellow on the design because its hard to find a good gold in Microsoft Paint ;)

Wow; there are so many gorgeous tail designs to see here! Gyldenscale, I am glad you are living up to your name and going GOLD (my flames will also be golden)! :mermaid kiss:

On the darker side, Ariel's angler tail and top look very cool! With that sort of design heel fins work well, and yours seem almost to emphasize your natural heels in a unique and beautiful way! :mermaid kiss: (Also, you deserve to have your own doll!)

OMG! I got my Merbella tail from Mermaid Namiko in the post today! :yay:
It's so beautiful and fit like a glove! It took 5 mins to put on with some lovely lube :D
