Are they hiring? I want one of their tails!

They made a complete new soundtrack for the US release of Polanski's "Fearless Vampire Hunters", because Komeda's original didn't sound "american enough".
The same was done to many other movies and musicals as well.
I've also noticed some musical shows that are loved in the US don't go well in Europe, and vice versa.
That's just on the side though.
H2O is an australian show, and I prefer to hear that when I see it.
It makes me wonder, whats the difference? Is europe brass, strings, thats an interesting difference.
humm?
Don't know if anyone mentioned but apparently the plot of season 3 was announced. Here it is:
Series 3 (2016)
When Chinese mermaid Weilan accidentally releases a water dragon, she flees to Mako Island with the creature in pursuit. Mermaids Odina, Mimmi and Sirena must defend Mako Island and the Gold Coast from destruction.
whaaaaaat?!
Asian water dragons are the embodiment of water and aquatic environment.
If anything, they defend it. Mostly against human destruction.
Something the so-called mermaids could learn from, especially with newer developments in Australian waters :p
If they muck up an asian water dragon with the western perception of "lolevil", I'm going to be extremely displeased.
This seems pretty interesting to me - at least it isn't the same "EVERYONE IS A MERMAID/MERMAN" song and dance. Although I wonder if/where Zac, Camden (was that his name? I'm pretty sure that was his name), and this new merman Erik come into play with this dragon. Fins crossed that they do it all justice! I'm just excited for season 2, I wonder when it'll be released to Netflix...

^^I have hoped for another mythological water creature to show up since H2O third season, where I was like "OMG Leviathan!!" when the water tentacle first appeared.
Of course, the thought of a waterdragon being an antagonist never crossed my mind :p
Excuse me if i am ranting but....
I find it odd there is no mention of Zac for the third season. He's the star!! I hope they don't just do away with him in the second season by having him and Evie swim off to live happily ever after and start their own pod ( *winks seductively* ;)) I would be very disappointed. There aren't many shows or movies about Mermen, but a lot with mermaids. And since merman are apparently some hidden/endangered/extinct species even by mermaid standards makes me very uneasy. I wasn't that much a fan of the original H20 but loved Mako. If they take Zac away, then I am slightly afraid this show would become basically another H20 aka Hydrogen Peroxide (get it? GET IT? Because it would be H202 :P). I already am slightly iffy about season 2 because they replaced Lyla and Nixie (and I wanted Lyla and Zac to be together soooo badly. I don't like Evvie that much) and now it seems the two new mermaids are here to stay. I hope we get Lyla and Nixie back anyway :/ Anyway, the whole concept of the water dragon sounds extremely interesting and HARDCORE. I hope the CGI is fantastic, or even better, I hope they don't use CGI at all and go old school with props and puppets and animatronics. Also, I bet a million clams the dragon takes on human form.
The Chinese mermaid better have a different type of tail and tail color otherwise I'm going to be slightly ticked off!
yea, I dislike the show's tendency to build up a character, just to flush it down next season.
It happened to Emma, Ash, and Charlotte in H2O, and none of them is mentioned again after the first sentence of the third season.
We'll see how it goes for Mako, but I doubt it'll be much different in that regard.
yes, YES, and YES!!!
Dragons changing into human form is one of the basics in folklore.
I've always, always wanted to see a movie with a real asian dragon (there are loads of movies with western dumb evil lizard style ones, but none of the eastern kind).
The only one I've managed to find is an anime (Spirited away).
If they'd do something like that, it's going to be the most amazing thing ever.
Regional tail colors would make more sense tbh. I've only seen the first half of season one (still) and will be VERY confused if they do away with Zac. Wtf? He's the REASON FOR THIS WHOLE SERIES
Not only a different tail color, but I think a different tail design would also be kind of cool. We know are current cast are mermaids from the South Atlantic (as said by Rita, I believe.) Maybe mermaids from all around the world look different in color and fin shape. Zac's tail is a differnent color and design. I'd love if they explored that. We could see Chinese mers, African mers, indian mers, merfolk from all around the world :D
Now I wonder who they'll cast as the Chinese mermaid? I can't think of any recent actresess with Chinese backgrounds.
I think the ship sailed with different tail designs when Bella didn't have a different tail design- like different moon pools made different tails. The idea of the Chinese mermaid is cool because at least she's not totally blonde and blue-eyed and caucasian.
Ya know if they didn't make some small alterations, that's just completly being lazy. The tail where made likely made new. Little kids know fish from different places are different.
They have time to make airbrush differences to the tails, I hope they do.
I'll be happy even if it's just a few minor changes between the Chinese tail and the normal ones
