Celeste I'm beyond excited to see yours! I've never seen a tail with a tribal design before, so I'm super stoked to see how that turns out! Now we need another meetup just so I can see it when it's finished!

The way the light hits the silver.. the deep blues.. the lovely flowy fins..it just makes me melt.:swoon: Literally the embodiment of my dream tail. I will probably get around to posting a review this month, as well as a follow up at the end of the summer after hopefully many uses (I have to look around for a pool that will allow a tail)

YAY!! I'm so glad you got your beautiful sapphire and lapiz tail! Yours was the first MerNation tail I heard was being made at the same time as mine, so I feel kind of attached to it, lol. The colors look gorgeous one you.

Oh, my, god. That is freaking awesome!!!

Something about the scale texture bugs me though...can't place my finger on it, but it makes me think rubber sports ball. I mean, it is rubber....hm. Lol

I still love it. XD

They have always had great paint work, but I've noticed that Mernation just keeps getting better!
Particularly with the blending of colors, highlights and the ombre effect from one color to another. I can't wait to order mine!

I actually finished my tail payment today! Can't wait for my tail! My first silicone tail and I'm so glad its going to be MerNation :) Please excuse my new account, I'm only now getting around to things! I'll update with photos as I get them! 😊

I think that's because they read our comments. They care very much about how we are enjoying their product, and they try to answer any questions we might have in a timely manner, in whatever means possible. Way to go, Mernation! :cheerleader:

Hahaha! Yep, that's it. I actually love them though...I loved playing four square with them. I have an Avengers one in my closet right now... xD

When I see all the tailmaking progress, I get so tempted to paint and sculpt something myself.
Haha if someone starts making tails here I can paint them. Molds and stuff seems so timeconsuming.

I love that they sculpt all the fins freehand! They are all so beautiful.

How do you sculpt free hand in silicone? I don't understand how that works. :P No mold?

You cant, they just mean sculpting in clay.

Oh wait.... hmm... maybe like dragging a tool across the fins. as they cure.

They have thickeners and stuff for silicone so you can sculpt it, Wesley. ^_^ I know a lot of zombie artists and stuff use it for gore makeup. XD

The only thing I asked them to fix was the gold and green on the bra. I only wanted the gold on the tips of the fins, not on the scales, so they will be fixing that as best as they can.
