First swim in my sequined tail

Rowan's new tail! Sequin tails are awesome. :) (The fluke is not yet glued shut, because we're still sharing a monofin...)

That's a WONDERFUL tail!
It's gorgeous.
Beautiful! I love sequin/silicone hybrid tails so much :swoon:
It's a BEAUUUUUUUUTIFUL tail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a beautiful tail. Can I ask how much weight sequins add to the tail? I love your individual scale tail, but because of the weight I have only been making fabric tails. I love the color blending on Rowan,s tail!

Its time I guess, Here is the Unboxing video of my tail from GotMermaid.net Yes I cried, like a baby (Happy mush ball here) I am so happy i have her. I have to upload the first swim and the side by side video between Tsunami (my new tail) and Blue Fish (my old fishbutts tails) this tail is alot higher up than my Fish butts tail (which slid down a ton, lol my pod can attest to that)
*There are significant differences between the two, and the New tail is individually scaled, not sheet scaled like my fishbutts,
*The fluke is glued in place to my uncut leader fin monofin (well there are small teeny tiny drainage channels in the body and on the fluke just in case) - Fishbutts was a bubbling dragging fluke mess (which wasn't sealed properly)
*They used my hubby's dorsal/secondary dorsal fin design and created it for me, I wanted to keep a little similarity of tattered fins to my old design and they gladly did. Fish butts side fins came off not long after use.
*I couldn't decide between heel fins or pectoral fins and i ended up with pectoral fins. The heel fins were an added surprise.
*They also have a small strap behind the knee to help aid in pulling up the tail, there's a prototype waistband in the waist area which is removable (because I have thyroid problems and i have YO-YO weight loss and gain)
*The black edges in the tail have a small bit of color changing paint or pigment on them (Richard knows which one) and the entire tail Is so gosh darn sparkly. Im so freaking happy, as you can see.
I waited a long time for this tail, Some of it was my fault because I had design issues.. i got over excited and changed things quite a bit. Thank Neptune these people are amazing! They sent me updates via photos and little snaps which was awesome. And they just blew my expectations away.
So here's My Lovely Tsunami

Okay. Long been waited for. Here's pics of the (unfinished) metal tail!!!! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...41d74d4a7b.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...7d10fbb3b6.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...0dac1464cc.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...72fe4b959b.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...6cc1fb54ef.jpg
Things to be done:
1) put metal scales on the fluke
2) reinforce the bendy areas
3) admit defeat and put in a real monofin
4) add more flippy floppy fins!!!

Thanjs everyone! She tried it out in the pool and it swims great!
Lilyrose fish, it's actually not all that heavy at all. I haven't weighed it but I used probably around 1.5 lbs of sequins. The neoprene is really light too. The monofin is heavy, probably 4-5 lbs.
It's done! It's done!
