As much as I hate to say it, I'm in the same boat. I ordered a top with my tail and only received my tail. I got photo updates of my top at the same time as my tail, but they said that my top hadn't completely dried, so they only sent my tail. It's been a couple of months since my tail arrived and still no top. They have told me a number of times that it is ready and that they would "ship it that weekend" but nothing has arrived.
Edit: I did see a post on instagram by a mermaid who received their most recent green tail and she seems to have gotten her top with it.
I used the design center on their website to submit my order and got an automatic confirmation email but my payment still says pending on my credit card account and I haven't heard anything since. Maybe they're not taking orders? Does anyone know for sure?Quote:

Sorry to hear that Lorelei, its really frustrating isnt it?! when i ordered my tail from them the communication was great and I got my tail in no time so Im surprised that this is happening now. my boyfriend is the one who ordered it from them and they dont communicate with him at all, all of it has been done through me which killed the surprise of a christmas present lol! He ended up getting annoyed and asking them for proof that it was being made at which point we got a photo of a gold top semi painted...
Like I totally understand and appreciate how busy they are but its been nearly a year since it was ordered and I am tired of being told over and over again that its going to be sent and its not

Basecamp is the new ordering platform they have. You upload EVERYTHING to do with your tail and its stored there and all communications run through it.Quote:

Well the only custom scuplt I had was for the fluke and that was supposedly done prior to them leaving for Hawaii in August 2014, based on the picture I got.
