I just love the clusters of blue-purple ones at the bottom right. If I ever make another big tail for me, it'll be green with a blue-purple fluke just those eye-popping colors. So pretty. This whole color scheme is gorgeous!Quote:

Thanks! I've been churning out scales like a madmermaid...this weekend is a holiday weekend, so I get an extra day to work on tails and fin/fluke sculpts....so much in progress, many new things to see...

I like the dark blue used sparingly, as an accent. And the asymmetry is beautiful! I much prefer it that way. Seems more natural I think.

I'm so glad you like the asymmetry, Kelda! It's going together very organically without being completely random. The mottling of the colors is almost underwater camouflage ...I think you'd be able to hide among the corals in a reef! This tail is going to be unique!! :yay:

Gorgeous. I love the clustered but still sorta random look! It's such a pretty combination of colors and I've never seen a tail with a random pattern like that that wasn't painted. Lovely!
