What about this gorgeous tail! I love how those fins kind of look like a mini fluke over the main fluke. And there's a Southern Cross constellation which made me so happy! :D

Oh my gawd. Sweet mother of pearls that is gorgeous
Hey guys; I figured I'd post here before pestering the Twins-
What kind of mix of paint do I need to patch a spot on my tail? What do I need to go buy to do an effective touch-up of a few spots? I did a pool event the other day and rubbed some of the paint where my knees and heels rubbed on the bottom of the pool. It doesn't look like I hurt the silicone at all, just the paint job. I figured someone here would know. Thanks for the help!
Also- i'm LOVING the new tails the Twins are pushing out. They all look awesome :D
Been doing touch ups for my tail (though mertailor but still, same stuff) with sil-poxy & pearl ex pigments, and thinner. Silpoxy is bit too thick without any thinner. Got them tips from Smooth On and they have worked so far
I've been doing exactly the same as riia. I tried normal dragonskin silicone with pearl ex and it just peels off.

@ Riia and Jessica-
Sounds like a plan. Thank you both for the advice. :)
Yes, that sounds very good, especially when the silicone is kind of older.. Riia, I never used thinner, may I ask what kind of thinner you use for sil-poxy?
My heart skipped a beat when I saw the new tails on their IG. So glorious and pretty!!!!
Im curious about thinner too, I have tried a few things and while I am mostly OK with my patch jobs, I feel like the consistency could be better!

I'm on my break at work and I just choked on my tea.
Holy ship that tail is my absolute fave FinFolk tail. Oh my god.
It seems to happen almost daily here lately. Probably because I'm always looking at the forum on my breaks at work, and there's almost always something ridiculous/amazing/hilarious going on.
I've gotten weird looks from my boss more than once, lol
Can we talk about the new tail being made for Hannah Fraser? HOLY CARP so many fins!!
It just occurred to me that the little fins by the fluke are on the top AND bottom of the tail.
I reeeaaaally wanna see how that looks in the water, it'll no doubt look amazing... :swoon:
I'm also curious what that many large-ish fins placed there does for the overall weight of the fluke, and how much drag it creates during swimming.
Even though FinFolk flukes are a bit big for my personal taste, this tail is stunning. Incredible paint job, and I hope whoever ends up in it takes some underwater video, I would love to see how all those pieces flow. Gorgeous.
