There was an incident involving a photo shoot, a boat and some rocks covered in oysters. The tail saved my butt, quite literally but suffered some damage to the silicone as a result. I've fixed it up already though, I bought some dragon-skin and put it in the cuts, so it's a lot better now.Quote:

Hey all! Been a while since I've posted....
So, Congrats to MermaidMechanic! You have one awesome tail now!!
And as for the "base price" of the tail, it isn't $4,000 instead it actually is $3,650. Raven said it herself on her page. After I ordered my tail (and probably a few others, too) she did a price adjustment and dropped her performance tail price from $3,000 to $2,600.
So, the tail alone would not have been a "$4,000 tail" as has been stated. and custom fins don't cost extra... just the fins are extra. And there wasn't a custom fluke, just the dragon part on the front, which would probably be extra.
All in all, yeah... wanted to clear that up. :-)
I might have photo shoots soon, but I need to do a temp fix on my fins... I can't afford to ship my tail to Raven yet. :-(
