Made a little mermaid bank! Save my spare sand dollars for fun mercessories!
Arella: That sand dollar jar is so pretty!!
Starfish Armband (made with the only colours of paint my cousins had as I'm baby sitting them at the moment)

Loving all these accessories, ladies!
What a great idea, Arella. You could actually sell a bank like that to older kids. It would be a great way to teach them thrift and also keep the mermaid dream fresh in them!
How cool is this?!

There's a company called Safari Ltd. that makes realistic plastic animals, and they have a nice line of sea creatures. Since all of our Mermaid Galene & Salty Stuart programs are animal-themed, I've been using these figures as additions to my costumes. You can buy them on Amazon or on the Safari Ltd. website.

I made a couple new crowns for a beach photoshoot for my daughter. One of the starfishes fell off before but did the best we could ;)
Lovely!
Just an example of how I set one of the sea slugs. This is one of my own, but awesomely it held up in the pool, though a couple of the long leaves came off due to there being no cap on the end to hold them...whoops XP (but now they're not going to move at all E6000 all the way!!)

Making my self a paddle :) (if you didn't guess it I'm Greek) it's going to have a picture of me being my mermaidy self on the back :D
Too cute!
This may not 'techniquely' go with all the jewels and pearls, but I use this little guy to guard my books and my occasional treasures!
Meet Bubbles!
Awww cute!
This is my first attempt to make a mer-necklace. I know it's not very impressive, but here are a few pics nonetheless:

I recycled some old pearls, sequins and thread to make this.
Shimmygoddess, your daughter looks adorable. :) I can totally see the family resemblance.
This stuff is all so beautiful *O*!!! Im not really crafty but it makes me want to head down to Michales and try getting stuff for a little headband or hairclip or something. There are a lot of places to collect seashells in this area and I pick them up sometimes but Ive never tried making anything out of them.
New hair flower for my Little Mermaid ensembles; it's HUGE. Will update with pics once it's on my but I am happy with it! I custom painted, pearled & rhinestoned it and added the leaves & bud behind it (which I might add a few stones to as well)
Without & with flash

What a gorgeous flower!
I picked up this little headband at Hancock Fabrics. It was already wrapped with beads and rhinestones; I just added the little fishie and seaweed. The fish is glass, so I will have to be careful not to bump it on anything!
