those are so pretty!
How did I miss your post, Kelda?
I can't wait to see what she comes up with!
So beautiful. :) I need to win the lottery so I can get a Pealie tail, too. XD
Ok, just, woww.,.,...
I adore people who just have so much patience it's unbelievable. And it's so clearly visible how that effort you have put on your own tail and on this one has been worth of everything, I mean.. It has gain the worth (sorry my english, finnish gal here.. ) even more. You know when someone has so much talent and then they push it to the limits they just make magic happen...
and...
Those scales just look so god damn delicious I'd like to eat them all!!!! :D
Kelda, you came up with a new fluke design?
Or did you modify one of your sketches?
I am really excited to see!
Well that one I totally believe :D
Not as far as I'm aware? Haha! My fluke design is this:

Possibly minus those heel fins depending on practicality.
I've laid out the fluke in clay and I'm molding the gems separately...the flat areas of the fluke are pretty smooth and plain...did you want some texture/veining in those areas? :D

*Nerine faints at the awesome that is pearlies talent*
Holy moly! Im and going to start saving for a tail by you.. Im fall more an more in love with your designs... even if it takes me 5 yrs(please keep maing tails that long) I will save enough somehow!!!
I do have installment plans... :-D
I love the silver on the left and the grey on the top right. Small, delicate veining would be lovely :)
Wonderful! I'll incorporate that into the fluke and fins.
Here we are as of now:

PearlieMae is the clay you use easier to work with compared to monster makers? I rarely do anything with clay, but when I do I have a bear of a time getting it to smoothen out. In fact, it doesn't smoothen out for me. :(
Yes, the plastilina is wonderful! I know some people are concerned that the resin heating up will destroy the detail but I've never had a problem with it.
Thanks! And by the way I see I am not the only one up late. :p
I should know better, but I can't help it!
I can't wait for the day when I can quit my day job and make tails full time!
